Your work
As an Machine Operator at IQIP in Sliedrecht, you will be responsible for the precise machining of metal components used in our offshore foundation and handling equipment. You will operate various conventional and CNC machines, interpret technical drawings, and ensure components meet high-quality standards. Your expertise supports the manufacturing of reliable, high-performance systems that are deployed in demanding offshore and onshore environments.
Your responsibilities
Operate conventional and CNC turning and milling machines
Produce high-precision metal parts based on technical drawings
Set up machines, select tools, and monitor machining processes
Perform quality checks using measuring instruments
Carry out basic maintenance on equipment and tools
Record production data and contribute to continuous improvement
Collaborate with colleagues from production, engineering, and quality control
Job requirements
Your profile
MBO level 3 or 4 education in machining, metalworking, or a similar technical field
Experience as a machinist, preferably in a heavy mechanical or industrial environment
Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings
Experience with CNC programming is a plus
Accurate, reliable, and quality-conscious work ethic
Team player with a hands-on, proactive attitude
Good communication skills in Dutch; English is an advantage
